There are two new Pixar movies on the way, but only one of them has a trailer that brought back feelings from my childhood.
British animation studio The Line is back at it with an awesome short film featuring some of my favorite artists, including Jonathan Djob Nkondo and Wesley Louis.
When I was in 11th grade I got to watch my first Lupin The 3rd film purely by accident on Film Zone. This short fanmade film reminded me of what hooked me with this characters back then.
This short was made for MetroCon 2005 in Tampa Bay, FL. by indie studio Humouring The Fates, as both the opening of the event and an homage to Kazuhiko Katō AKA Monkey Punch, the creator of Lupin and the event’s main guest. The animation is very good if a little too quick for my eyes, and the faded gray tones gives the whole thing a feeling of nostalgia. Very cool.
