Designer Ben Esposito is making Donut County, a game with a small hole that swallows all the things and a donut delivery raccoon. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?
Part of the indie game menu at Day of the Devs, Donut County follows a current of thought not unlike that of Katamary Damacy, where you take control of a small idea that gets bigger the more you feed it, and a bunch of virtual people and homes pay dearly for it.
Esposito is developing the game with help from Indie Fund, an initiative by other successful indie developers that seeks to help other creators to publish games and remain independent.
That’s all I have to say about the game for now. I hope it comes out soon, because I want it.
